Department of Education of Bundelkhand College Jhansi was established in year 1972 with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), two year course with intake of 100 students. The department is recognized by NCTE , New Delhi and affiliated to Bundelkhand University Jhansi U.P. Now a days, A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is two year undergraduate degree program designed to prepare individuals for a career in teaching at secondary and higher secondary school levels. It provides the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary to effectively teach in schools and educational institutions. There Are Eight highly qualified permanent faculty members in the department with excellent academic achievements. The vision of the department is to be an acclaimed leader in Teacher education with focus on quality, equity, inclusiveness and excellence through training, research, extension and consultancy in Bundelkhand region of India. The department is producing sensitive, competent and humane teachers according to the needs and values of the society and nation. The department is maintaining its 100 percent result and 100 percent placement record since its inception.
