About the College


THE MOTTO OF THE COLLEGE IS "VIDYAMRATUMSHANUTE"- KNOWLEDGE IS LIKE NECTAR THAT MAKES A PERSON IMMORTAL

The college was established by Shri Rajan babu in 1949 for providing higher education to the students specially who were socially and economically deprived.The college holds the distinction of being the only institution providing higher education to the village and poor students in the surrounding region.The college is a multi-faculty college with Commerce, Education & Arts faculty. The college has adequate infrastructural facilities – class rooms, library, computer laboratory, playground etc.The college has conducted a good number of extension activities to strengthen college neighborhood network. The NSS unit is an asset to the college which allows 200 volunteers. This unit conducts various extension activities to help our students become aware of their social responsibilities. The college has been working sincerely for the betterment of the students. The college has a well maintained library.The college has Students Grievance Redressal Cell, Anti Ragging Committee, Students Council, Students Welfare Board, Alumni Association. Educational institutes need to produces professionals of high caliber equipped with optimal expertise to meet the multidimensional challenges posed by the current scenario since its inception in 1949;

Bundelkhand degree College is contributing to the holistic development of the society with utmost devotion. We, as Grade B institutions, accredited by NAAC in the year 2012, have set our goal to acquire excellence in teaching and research by adopting the pedagogy of inculcating human values among the students following the guidelines of national education policy 2020.
Expression of thoughts with a positive attitude, originality in ideas, faith in hard work, sense of responsibility and compassion for deprived section of society are the proem of institution in addition to academic curricula, this we aim achieve with the coordinated efforts of students, teachers, non-teaching staffs and all the stakeholders of the intuition.
